    Adult Hockey Update 2013!

Co-ed Adult Hockey in Menomonie is back for the 2013 – 2014 season, with weekly play scheduled October 3 to March 13!!  There have been some changes to our weekly ice times and fee structure since last season, so read on!

RECREATIONAL Hockey (aka REC)**...   9:15-10:15 pm THURSDAYS

This co-ed session is for participants OVER 25 YEARS OF AGE.

Exceptions:  Skaters UNDER 25 that are novice / intermediate skaters will be considered.  The novice / intermediate tone needs to be respected during this session.  Checking and slap shots are not allowed.  The puck will be dropped promptly at 9:15, so please be on time!

    Kris Recker (reckerk@uwstout.edu)

    Mike Bowman (mike_bowman@charter.net)

COMPETITIVE Hockey (aka COMP)**...  generally 9:15-10:15 pm MONDAYS.  As the season progresses and youth hockey demands more ice, this session may shift to 10:30-11:30 MONDAYS.  Check the calendar on the MYHA website for monthly ice assignments/schedule.

This co-ed session is for participants UNDER 25 YEARS OF AGE.

Exceptions:  Skaters OVER 25 that are advanced skaters with game experience will be considered.  This session is for more advanced skaters with experience playing the game at higher speeds and competitively.

**Your Season Pass provides you with 1 hour of ice each week.  Skaters are expected to skate Comp OR Rec, but not both.

There are 2 options for paying your way this year:

    1.  Season Pass:  $100.  Covers the cost of 1 session per week for the season.

    2.  Earn – A – Pass Payment Option:  $10 per session UNTIL YOU REACH $100.  After paying $100 total over 10 skates, you’ve earned your Season Pass.  Comp and Rec coordinators will keep track of your attendance and payments and communicate with you when you’ve earned your Season Pass.

Fees are to be paid in the locker room BEFORE coming on the ice and each skater must sign in on the roster.  No pay, no skate, no exceptions.  If you’re on the ice and haven’t paid or checked in with a coordinator, you may be asked to leave.

    Goalies skate for free.

Cash or checks are accepted.  Please write checks to 'Menomonie Adult Hockey Association’ (MAHA).

ALWAYS bring a white and a black jersey to the ice for team formation. Gray causes confusion, so please, black and white.  Helmets are REQUIRED on the ice at ALL times.  Face and body protection is STRONGLY recommended.  YOU SKATE AT YOUR OWN RISK!  Protect yourself, using good common sense, and we can all have fun out there!

If you have any questions, contact a coordinator of the group you’re interested in skating with.
